Stephen D Stewart, b. Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas 1979

 Lives and works in Breaux Bridge, LA. Stephen Stewart attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. During his time there he studied Economics. While in college he took some art classes such as art appreciation. Where he discovered he had a talent for art and sculpting. Stephen is a self-taught artists with a strong foundation in art history, art process, and the affects of art on culture at large. He had an Uncle Frank Gray who was known for his still life and landscape paintings. Frank Gray was an oil painter and studied classical painting. His influence and the influence of the art community of Dallas and Houston strongly influenced his art education.
