This work captures the childhood nightmares that many of us face in our youth. These shadows in the dark. When I was a boy I use to think I saw Shadow People. In some cultures, these are our ancestors coming to visit us. In others, it is the boogie man if you will. While other societies say it is the struggle of our unconscious mind. Regardless of what your society says this is something that is almost universal across the globe. Why is it that we all share this despite being from different sides of the globe? Childhood wonder is a wonderful and magical thing even when it is fixated on our fears. Fears that often awaken things in us that we didn't know were there. This piece was made with quality paints and is on stretched canvas. It was made with acrylic. This frame comes with the painting.
