Disquiet

This artwork is part of the Alzheimer Series. It delves into the space where one is surrounded by the noise. Not unlike sitting inside of a tornado. The center is calm and quiet but the storm rages around you in all its furry. This piece evokes the feeling that many Alzheimer Patients experience. This almost sense of displacement is indicative of the experience. You only know that you exist but not who you are, where you are, or how you have come to be. Despite the soft and almost tranquil appearance of the artwork the layers beneath are full of the energy of the raging storm. This painting is a 36x48 on canvas made with acrylic and graphite. Only quality materials are used.
